Crowell-Collier's Influence on the American Identity

Junior Salesman

The acquisition of Collier's:  The National Weekly presented a unique sales opportunity for Crowell Publishing.  Crowell Publishing created the Crowell Junior Salesman.  Junior Salesmen were offered the chance to sell a combination of Crowell Publications that could be redeemed for prizes.  A Crowell Junior Salesman was given a monthly publication that contained suggestions for increasing sales and profiles of certain boys with exemplary sales records.
