Exhibit Abstract

For almost eighty years Crowell-Collier published some of the most popular and important magazines in the United States.  The information and entertainment in a Crowell-Collier publication helped define American values.  Reading Crowell-Collier publications allowed Americans to reinforce their sense of a shared culture and material identity.   This exhibit aims to explore the American identity published by Crowell-Collier.
